Its always fun seeing the best new “it” places when I visit Houston, and my Uncle John, is the best person to do that with. Being restaurant week, the city’s hottest dining venues were at their prime, and this was most apparent when we had dinner at Uchi, a new sushi restaurant. Its older sister being Uchi-Austin, Uchi -Houston, had alot to live up to, but surpassed any expectation that I had preceding the meal. The service was impeccable, and the taste foie gras roll is more than memorable. As for shopping Kuhl-Linscomb blew my mind, and was a feast for the eyes. If you are shopping for a new house, or sprucing up an old one, this is your place, offering furniture, lighting, and accessories for every room, and something for everyone’s design aesthetic. Make sure these are on your list if you’re ever in town!
